Legends SC 2014B-A wrapped up the Spring 2026 season on Saturday, May 9, with a 10-0 loss to first-place Elk Grove SC. Facing the top team in the standings was already a difficult task, and Legends entered the match shorthanded, missing several key starters who were covering for the 2012 team in its simultaneous push for 3rd place. That made the challenge even steeper and contributed to a difficult end-of-season result.
Legends finishes the Spring 2026 campaign in last place with 0 wins, 3 draws, and 6 losses. While the standings tell one part of the story, the season was more competitive than the record suggests. Several of those losses were winnable games, and in many matches Legends showed the ability to compete well and even take the lead. The team’s biggest challenge was sustaining that level through the second half and closing games out. Those are lessons the players and coaches can take into the future as they look to regroup and improve. Hopefully, the Fall 2026 season will bring better results for Legends 2014B-A.
