Legends U13 boys were defeated 3–1 by KAOS FC on the road in Redding on October 10, marking their third consecutive loss.
Legends started brightly, with crisp passing leading to an early goal in the fourth minute. KAOS responded three minutes later, capitalizing on a turnover in midfield to level the score. Legends continued to look composed and in control, and the match seemed within reach.
The game took a difficult turn in the 28th minute when one of Legends’ key defenders received a red card in a decision the team considered wrongful. Down to 10 players, Legends continued to compete well in the second half, but defensive breakdowns led to KAOS goals in the 55th and 64th minutes.
On a positive note, the opposing coach complimented Legends’ passing and the way the team continued to play while down a player. That recognition reflected the players’ composure, teamwork and determination.
Coach Michael shared his appreciation for the team’s supporters: “I want to thank everyone who made the trip to Redding today. Your time, support, and commitment to the team are truly appreciated!”
Legends still have a chance to finish the season at .500 by winning their final two matches, both on the road, against Capital Valley and Yuba Elite.
