Coach Taras Babchuk is the newest addition to the Legends coaching staff, currently serving as the head coach for the Legends 2017B-A and 2017B-B soccer teams. He began his journey with the club as a team manager last summer, and after just two months in that role, was promoted to head coach of the youngest Legends team in 2025. Eager to grow in his new position, Coach Taras has already completed several coaching courses hosted by NorCal and has quickly earned the respect of players and parents alike.

His coaching philosophy centers on making soccer fun and engaging for young players aged 8–9. He believes that at this age, the game should be an enjoyable experience, and he strives to create an environment filled with encouragement, support, respect, and discipline. Coach Taras focuses on teaching the fundamentals of soccer while ensuring that every child feels valued and motivated to learn. In addition to his coaching duties, he also organizes different club activities, helping to foster a strong sense of community within the club.
